The NPS Lions Minibus Scheme
The NPS Lions is running a scheme whereby local community groups can book to use a minibus (with driver) from a local transport operator free of charge. The whole of the cost will be met by the NPS Lions.
This is to enable local elderly people and other groups to have trips out. Some of these groups may previously have used the Lions own minibus which is no longer available as it has been donated to the Havens Happy Club which runs day care centres for local elderly people.
In order to take advantage of this scheme, you will first need to apply to register your group with the NPS Lions. You will need to provide us with the following:
- Name of the group;
- Charity number if applicable;
- Briefly state the purpose of the group;
- Contact details including name of contact person, email address, postal address and telephone number.

Once you have successfully registered then you will be able to book a minibus and driver directly with a local community transport operator – this will be completely free of charge.
